5K & FUN RUN
The Florida State University Schools ("Florida High") Friends and Alumni Network (FAN) host this 1st Annual 5K & 1M Fun Run to support the athletic programs of Florida High.
FSUS has 26 varsity, junior varsity, and middle school athletic programs, as well as club sports for upper elementary aged students in track and field and wrestling. Many of the programs are small and do not have a revenue stream from event ticket sales to offset their needs. Our goal in raising these funds is to help reduce out-of-pocket expenses for athletes and their families as well as provide for the needs of our athletic programs.
Florida High FAN seeks to strengthen the bonds of community spirit between our students and their families with the community. We have an amazing group of faculty, staff, and students that we plan to showcase at the event, along with our remarkable student athletes.

COURSE
Our course is USATF certified #FL15107EBM. It is a beautiful course that will start and end on the campus of FL High in Southwood, looping around the lake. It is anticipated to be a beautiful, fast, and mostly flat race suitable for strollers and young runners.

Credit card payments can be made through Eventbrite only. To pay via check made payable to FSUS, please complete a paper registration (http://www.gulfwinds.org/Calendar/2016%20Calendar/Flyers/FAN%202016.pdf) and deliver or mail to the school, Attn: Maurice Adams, Athletic Director, postmarked or delivered before close of business by March 17, 2016. Be sure to circle the option you are registering for on the form! We have youth size shirts available so please indicate that on the form as well.

FAQs
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
No
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Race Day parking will be limited to the faculty and staff parking lot and surrounding parallel parking. No street parking as this will block the race route. The student parking lot is reserved for race volunteers. Please follow all directions of parking attendants on race day.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Wheelchairs and strollers welcomed. NO roller skates, shoes with wheels, skateboards, or bicycles allowed. NO dogs or other pets on campus or race course, with the exception of registered service animals. No weapons or tobacco products on campus.
Is my registration transferable?
No. You can make corrections to your existing registration but you cannot transfer the registration to another person or change the ticket type.
Can I update my registration information?
Yes, please contact Race Director Marleni Bruner with any changes to your registration.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, you will only need a printed ticket to pick up your race packet. You can also use an e-ticket through the Eventbrite mobile app.
What is the refund policy?
No refunds. Race will be held rain or shine.
